We Started Nothing ist das Studio-Debütalbum des Britischen Indie Pop Duos The Ting Tings. Jules & Katies Kombination von Dance, Indie Pop und New Wave war in 2008 mit der heißeste Sound, was dazu führte, dass We Started Nothing auf Platz 1 der UK Album Charts landete. Daraus gingen sechs Hit Singles hervor, darunter »That’s Not My Name« (#1). The Ting Tings wurden die NME, MTV, Grammy und Brit Awards nominiert. Sie gewannen den MTV Award (»Best UK Act«) und »Shut Up and Let Me Go« wurde zum »Best UK Video« gewählt.
